What to Expect

Visiting a new church can be overwhelming. We want to provide you with some information that will hopefully make your first visit easier to navigate.
Guest Parking
As you enter the parking lot at American Academy, please be sure to park in one of our “Guest Parking” spots on the front row near the main entrance. This will give you and your family direct access to the facility.
Hospitality Team
A member of our Hospitality Team will greet you in the parking lot and help you find your way inside. They will always introduce themselves and welcome you to Cross Family. Please feel free to ask them any questions; they are here to help.
Welcome Center
Once inside, make sure to visit the Welcome Center where another member of our Hospitality Team will make sure you have all the information you need for your first visit at Cross Family. While there, be sure to receive the gift we have for you before helping yourself to some coffee or water in our foyer.
Finding Your Seat
Before helping you find your seat in the Worship Center, one of our team will help you check-in your kids (birth through pre-school) for childcare during the service. For more information regarding our kids’ ministry, visit our CFC Kids’ Ministry page. Once you have finished your coffee and are ready to enter the Worship Center, one of our ushers will help you find a comfortable seat.
During the Service
At Cross Family, we welcome kids who are in kindergarten and older to worship with us in the Worship Center. If you would like some items to help your child focus during the service, don't hesitate to ask. There is plenty of room for kids to play on the floor during our service if needed. We welcome the sound of kids in our service.

You may be wondering what a typical Worship Service looks like at Cross Family. On Sunday mornings, we will sing a variety of worship songs including hymns and contemporary music, spend time in prayer as a church family, and listen to our Pastor as he preaches verse-by-verse through a passage of Scripture. Our services last around an hour and fifteen minutes and we always offer people an opportunity to respond to the sermon at the end of the service.
